Cardinal Hume strings

Cardinal Hume Strings is a string ensemble organised by Cardinal Hume Catholic School Music Department. All string players at the school (violinists, violists, ‘cellists and double bass players) are very welcome to join and there is no charge.

Cardinal Hume Strings is directed by an experienced string teacher and rehearses a wide variety of string arrangements, from pop to classical, with parts to suit all abilities. The ensemble gives regular performances and often joins with the school wind ensemble to play orchestral works.

Joining Cardinal Hume Strings will provide valuable ensemble and performance experience in a friendly and supportive environment. It is also an opportunity to meet like minded musicians and make new friends.

Rehearsal times: Every Wednesday during term time 3.30pm to 4.30pm.
